We are two independent community development organisations from two countries i.e. United Kingdom (UK) and Uganda (UG), using the same name “CAEVA”, which in full is, “CARE AND EMPOWERMENT OF THE VULNERABLE IN ACTION”, working in partnership through the “CAEVA COOPERATION AND PARTNERSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT”, abbreviated as CCOPID.
In a harmonized manner, leverage on the comparative advantage and strategic strength of each partner to professionally and cost-effectively accelerate progress on Sustainable Development Goals 1,3, and 4.
Use different models to multi-dimensionally empower selected children, youths, and households to realize their full potential, productivity, and growth as a way of actualising SDG 1,3, and 4 and sustaining the outcomes.
The core focus of CAEVA Cooperation and Partnership for International Development (CCOPID) is to complement global efforts geared towards accelerating the progress of SDG 1) No Poverty, SDG 3) Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 4) Quality Education, in developing communities, where the success of the SDGs impacts most. The 3 SDGs CCOPID works on are:
CCOPID’s work involves creating an enabling environment as well as building the capacities of young people and households at the real grassroots, to proactively participate in transforming their respective communities. On that
backdrop, CCOPID is for:
• Practical, context-based, and time-bound SDG actualization interventions.
• Locally proposed and driven interventions that become self-sustaining over time.
• Positively impacting and lasting development at the individual, household, and community levels.

This involves training and raising awareness on malaria, sexually transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS, teenage pregnancy, malnutrition, menstrual hygiene, maternal and child health, road safety, etc., as well as creating an enabling environment for better healthy living.
This involves provision of tuition, scholastic materials, and other necessary support such as meals, transport, etc., to selected children and youth. CAEVA also takes on students as well as recent graduates for virtual and onsite internship.
Identifying market for products and services made/provided by skilled young people and sharing information with them to take advantage of those markets.
A good environment is deeply intertwined with health living. On that backdrop, CAEVA protects the environment by operating a nursery bed with different tree-seedlings, distributes those seedlings, and partners with different agencies in environment protection
This involves supporting selected children and youth to undergo skilling in trades such as motor vehicle mechanics, tailoring, catering, hair dressing, ICT, etc., at CAEVA Vocational Skills Training Centre.
Tools and Equipment for technical/vocational work such as welding machines, sewing machines, fully equipped tool boxes for automobile mechanics, catering utensils, etc., are expensive.
